FLP - The Financial Literacy Program

Financial literacy is the possession of a set of skills and knowledge that allows an individual to make informed and effective decisions with all of their financial matters in areas including real estate, insurance, investing, tax planning, and retirement. It also involves an intimate knowledge and understanding of financial concepts like compound interest, financial planning, credit card usage, savings methods, and consumer rights.

The absence of financial literacy can lead to making decisions that can have adverse effects on the financial health and stability of an individual or family.
